Introduction
Last week we learned that God will not disappoint us if we put our hope in Him. There’s security in believing God’s word that cannot be found anywhere else. But even the strongest faith is susceptible to the discouragement that lies within the process on the way to the promise. It can be difficult to see the promise through the devastation of the present. However, we can find strength in knowing that the promises of God are secured in His word—Jesus (2 Corinthians 1:20). Therefore, it’s safe to say there’s nothing wrong with God’s promise. Instead, the problem lies within our vision—what we see. This week, we are committing ourselves to developing secured vision. Because if we are going to experience the promise of greater glory, we must learn to secure our vision on the promise.
