God Will Not Disappoint
Focus Scripture
"‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the Lord of hosts.” — Haggai 2:9 NKJV
"And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us." — Romans 5:3-5 NKJV

Introduction
One of the things that hinders the faith of the believer is the fear of being let down—the fear of disappointment. If you’re reading this, chances are you’ve been let down before. You’ve experienced the pain of an unmet expectation, unkept promises, betrayal, sabotage, etc. I believe it’s safe to say that none of it feels good and no one desires to experience those feelings. While there are many things we could address surrounding the fear of disappointment, the thing I want you to know today is that God will not disappoint. Hope in God is not a gamble, it’s a sure victory. My goal for this week is to give you five reasons why you can firmly believe God and know without question that He will not disappoint.
